Celebrating Gary Bond’s Career

Gary Bond began his jewelry career in April 1976, just a week after turning 16, at David’s Jewelers in Westminster. While pursuing college, he worked his way up to assistant manager, eventually shifting his studies from aeronautics to business. In 1981, Gary joined Columbia Jewelers, managing several store locations before becoming manager of their North Hanover Mall store. By 1993, he and longtime colleague Rick took a leap of faith and opened Garrick Jewelers in the same mall. Eight years later, in 2001, they purchased and opened the beautiful location the community knows today. After nearly 50 years in the jewelry industry—and over 30 years serving customers through Garrick Jewelers—Gary is retiring. To celebrate his remarkable career, we’re hosting a Retirement Sale as a thank you to our loyal customers and community.
